PDP names Adeleke as Chairman Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Primary

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has nominated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Chairman of the Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Primary Electoral Committee.
The exercise is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the State Capital, Yenagoa.
The Committee is saddled with the responsibility of conducting the Primary Election for the purpose of nominating the candidate of the Party for the upcoming 2023 Gubernatorial Elections in the State.
The State Governor, Senator Duoye Diri is the only one aspirant for the primary.
This was confirmed in a statement yesterday by the National Organizing Secretary of the PDP, Hon. Umar Bature in Abuja.
The party has, equally, formally released the approved list of felegates for the Bayelsa 2023 Governorship Primary Election.
Other members of the committee are Dr (Mrs) Oby Nwogu, Hon. Gabriel Onyewife, Hon (Mrs) Saratu Hamman, Alhaji Gurama Bawa and Mrs Farida Umar, with Barrister Sunday Marshal Katung as Secretary.
According to the statement by Bature, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has approved the nomination of the following stakeholders to serve on the Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Primary Electoral Committee to conduct the Primary Election for the purpose of nominating the candidate of our great Party for the upcoming 2023 Gubernatorial Elections in the State.
“The exercise is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the State Capital, Yenagoa.
‘In the same vein, and pursuant to its commitment of free, fair and transparent elections, the NWC hereby formally releases the approved list of Delegates for the Bayelsa 2023 Governorship Primary Election”, the statement ended.
