The Supreme Court Football Club, Abuja, has appointed former Kogi United coach, Fatai Osho, as its new Technical Adviser, ahead of the second round of the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL).
This is contained in a statement by the club’s Media Officer, Ikenna Okonkwo yesterday in Abuja.
Okonkwo quoted the club’s Team Manager, Tolulope Oguntimehin, as saying that the appointment was based on the club’s intention to finish at the top of the league table.
“The appointment of Osho is to boost the technical crew of the club as part of efforts geared towards ensuring that we clinch a premier league ticket by the end of the season.
“We are not leaving anything to chance in making the club to be able to gain promotion.
“And it is not going to be business as usual in the second round because the club management is taking concrete steps that will further step up the performance of the team,’’ Oguntimehin said.
According to the statement, Osho would resume with the club on Tuesday, May 20, after the necessary documentation is completed.
Oguntimehin said that coach Osho would lead the club’s technical crew until the end of the season.
The coach Osho led Remo Stars of Ogun to a third place in the 2012/2013 NNL season before moving to Kogi United FC early this season.
Osho was, however, suspended indefinitely by the management of Kogi United FC in April.
