FCT RUWASSA disengages Kamsimi Ent., project consultant on public toilet

The FCT Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Directorate (RUWASSA) has revealed the disengagement of the services of its Project Consultant on public conveniences in the territory, due to some alleged infractions and lapses observed in the terms of engagements, since November, 2021.
RUWASSA, disclosed this in a letter dated 1st June, 2023, and signed by the Executive Director, FCT RUWASSA, Dr. M. A. Dan-Hassan, which was addressed to the Managing Director of Kamsimi Enterprises, Mr. Christopher Lorfa.
According to the Directorate, the firm allegedly failed to consummate and execute the requisite terms of engagement between the two parties, leading to poor coordination and management of the Project.
A statement from, Head, Media and Publicity, FCT RUWASSA, Karo Sani Bala, disclosed that RUWASSA had withdrew the earlier offer of engagement made to Kamsimi Enterprises,
It adds: “With this development, the firm has no capacity to act for or on behalf of RUWASSA in anything relating to public Convenience Project and other matters in the FCT”.
