The party members under the APC Loyalty Forum, Kogi chapter, also called for immediate disbandment of the Kogi state executive committee and a complete reversal of congresses held in the state.

In a statement signed by 25 members of the party from Kogi state, including Chief A. G Umar, Hajia Obah, Hon. Abdullahi Isa, Engnr. Shehu A., and Mr. Yunusa Amadi among others, disagreed with Prince Abubakar Audu whom they alleged of masterminding the conspiracy.

They said, “It is on record that members of of APC in Kogi state, especially the legacy parties members, were disenfranchised, marginalised, sidelined and deliberately denied the opportunity to participate in the congresses in the state.

“No ward, local, or state congress ever took place; instead the cabal organised a selections of some people into the various party offices without due process, due diligence or consultation with party members or leaders. This was championed, organised and executed and led by Prince Abubakar Audu in his residence at Lokoja with the conspiracy, collaboration and assistance of the congress committee,” they alleged.
