FCT: Gwagwalada Chairman advises traditional rulers on peaceful co-existence

The Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, has advised the newly appointed District Heads as well as Village Heads to always maintain peaceful co-existence in their domains.
Jibrin Giri, who gave the advice while addressing the crowd at the palace of Agora of Zuba, Alhaji Mohammed Umar Bello during the coronation of some traditional rulers on Sunday.
He further charged the youths to shun any act capable of generating tension during the celebration of their royal fathers in their respective communities.
Giri, however, called on the entire residents of Gwagwalada and its environs to pray for him in order to have the wisdom and ability to administer them for the better, and charged the residents to live in peace at all times.
Also speaking during the coronation of the royal fathers, the Agora (Chief) of Zuba in Gwagwalada Area Council, Alhaji Mohammed Umar Bello, tasked the monarchs to lead their subjects with the fear of God.
Some of the appointed District Heads/Village Heads by the present administration of the Area Council are Alhaji Usman Mohammed; District Head of Giri, Isaiah Sarki; District Head of Rafin Zurfi, Ibrahim Pada Tukura; District Head of Gwako and Alhaji Kasim Mohammed Zuba the District Head of Zumwa.
Other traditional rulers included Yunusa Garba; Village Head of Giri Pkasere, Yunusa Gwamna; Village Head of Dukpa, Isah Dahiru Usman; Village Head of Zuba, Mallam Yunusa Dikko Musa; Village Head of Rafin Zurfi and Halidu Dahiru the Village Head of Tungan Samu among others.
