Ogun APC crisis continues as Osoba faction vows not to reconcile

Crisis rocking the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is far from being settled as faction loyal to former governor of the state and a national leader of the party, Chief Olusegun Osoba, has said that they are not ready for harmonization or to share the party position with faction loyal to the state Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

This revelation came to limelight yesterday at the stakeholders’ meeting of the faction loyal to the former governor held at the Ibara GRA resident of Chief Osoba.

According to Osoba who addressed his loyalists on the position of the executive members of the faction “the two factions should go their separate ways and that nothing can join them together again. Everyone should go on his or her way. Secondly, they said they are not ready for any harmonization between the two factions regardless of the ratio to share it either 70/30; 80/20; 95/5.

“Our people here are original party members. You are not dubious, you have tellers, you don’t want to associate with those that do not have tellers. You are the one who collected the tellers with your hard earned money and not government money, you followed party procedures for the congresses”, he said.

“Where we are now, no room for harmonization or reconciliation? I then told them that, if it has gotten to that, it means we have drawn two parallel lines. I asked them again if they have fully concluded and then enter into covenant and vowed to them that I will not forgive or reconcile with anybody”.

“As I stand before you, I swear before God and Jesus Christ; my Lord, I promised you all that the issue of forgiveness is no more. If you stand firmly as a warrior that is enough for me, if you are ready there is no more room for reconciliation,” Osoba affirmed.

“If thousand of people prostrate, it is what you want that I will do, it is what you say that I will say, I will stand where you stand, I want to appeal to you, don’t be distracted.

“You know we have been together since 1988, sooner than later, everything will be settled”.

Osoba charged all his faithful to start taking register at every ward meeting of the party which he said should be well kept adding that such register should be forwarded to local government secretariat of the party for proper record keeping pointing out that he wants to know the authentic members of the party that are loyal to him.
