The Sarkin (Chief) of Tudun Fulani, Piri Community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar, has begged the Chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Danladi Chiya to deem it necessary to bring back a polling unit of Piri Primary School in Tudin Fulani to enable the residents to vote for the candidates of their choice during the election.
He expressed with dismay that the Tudun Fulani residents in Piri Community did not have a box allocated to them, instead they travel to the neighboring villages such as Kwaita and Kamadi to cast their votes during the election.
Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar, who made this known in an interview with Peoples Daily Correspondent at Yangoji in Kwali Area Council, also pleaded with Chairman to provide Jobs for the Fulani graduates in their communities.
He further appealed to the Chairman to consider the Fulani Chiefs on the monthly salaries of the Area Council in order to boost their morale in the society and begged the Chairman to take Fulani along in the scheme of things.
