Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar has charged the well to do individuals to invest in hospitality business with a view to reducing unemployed youths in our societies.
Atiku gave the charge in Yola, Tuesday, while officially commissioning the Dari hotels and Apartments limited belonging to his long standing associate,Alhaji Tanimu Abdullahi.
In his welcome address, guest speaker of the occasion,Hon Salihu Baba Ahmed said the multi million naira hotel was built purposely give a boost to hospitality venture with a unique difference.
Baba Ahmed said the concept was hatched and nursed by the founder as a way of giving back to the society in his own modest way noting that economic experts have confirmed that hospitality business of this nature has now assumed a global significant in economic growth of any country.
Ahmed explained that the facility is open for business engagement to all partners, noting that commercial venture as such increase revenue to government and stimulate vital parformance in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
He elogizes the success of the former Vice president Atiku Abubakar in entrepreneurship describing him as “a catalyst in different business outlets including hospitality sector” saying that his businesses have been a source of livelihood and pride of many .
“At a time Former Vice president Atiku Abubakar has worth 250,000 enlisted on his payroll as employees of his numerous investments making him the larger employer of labour in the state”.said Baba Ahmed.
Earlier in his speech, manager of the hotel, Mr. Vide Monzer stated that, the commissioning of the edifice is a testimonial to providing heaven for comfort of potential customers.
Monzer reiterated the commitment of the management of the hotel in doing business with its teeming customers.
