The Newspapers Vendors Association, Abuja (NVAA) has kicked-off membership verification exercise, in order to ensure effective regulation and strict compliance with business activities at approved newsstands in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to a statement yesterday, signed by the NVAA’s Secretary, Etim Iwara, the exercise which started on June 1 is expected to end by next month (July 1) , after which unverified vendors shall not be allowed to carry out their usual sales activities in the FCT.

The statement added that all duly and screened members of the association shall be issued newly approved identity cards.
