Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, yesterday advised fans and owners of viewing centres to be vigilant during world cup football tournament.
Olukolade gave the advice at a Joint Security News Conference organised by the National Information Centre, Abuja.
Recalling the explosion at a bar in Mubi, Adamawa, on Sunday, Olukolade urged the fans and citizens to always take notice of strange persons or objects around them.
He also advised them to report strange objects to security agencies for prompt action to forestall untoward incidents. (NAN)
