Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the FCT, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has flagged off the rehabilitation of 620 metre old Karmo road, in the council.
Maikalangu, who made this known on Tuesday in the community, declared that his administration will continue to focus on the developmental projects.
He added that his leadership had focused more on the provision of portable drinking water, rural electrification and roads rehabilitation within one year of his administration.
He also informed the people of old Karmo that he had carried out people’s oriented projects across the 12 political wards of the Area Council, and called on the residents to support his administration.
The Chairman advised the residents of old Karmo to co-operate with the contractors handling the road project, charging them to report any contractor who engages in shady work.
Also speaking, the District Head of old Karmo commended the AMAC Chairman for the structure made available in place in the community.
