The Jigawa state Governor Malam Umar Namadi on Thursday signed into law the sum of N298.140 billion as budget for 2024 fiscal year.
The governor who signed the budget one week after the state Assembly passed the budget, said the budget holds a lot and assured Jigawa citizens that it will be implemented accordingly.
He said as the budget build-up through the views and opinions of citizens, all concerns should watch the implementation of the budget.
He advised people to correct the government where things are not appropriately done.
Governor Namadi commended the efforts of the legislators for the speedy passage of the bill, saying it happened due to their dedication and patriotism to the state.
