President of the Ninth Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan, mourns the death of Hajiya Hafsat Ahmed Gimba, mother of the Publisher of Neptune Newspaper, Hassan Gimba.
Hajiya Hafsat Gimba died at the age of 85 on Monday at the Potiskum Specialist Hospital after a brief illness.
Lawan, in a condolence message to Hassan Gimba, said the publisher’s mother, Hajiya Hafsat Gimba, lived a life of service and dedication to her family and community.
The former Senate President said, “It is with great sadness that I received the news of the passing of Hajiya Hafsat Ahmed Gimba, the mother of the Publisher of Neptune Prime, Mr. Hassan Gimba.
“On behalf of the entire people of Yobe North Senatorial District, I extend my sincere condolences to the Gimba family, friends, and associates during this difficult time.
“Hajiya Hafsat lived a life of service and dedication to her family and community. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith in Allah. Her passing is a great loss to all who knew and loved her.
“Hajiya Hafsat Gimba personally was a woman of grace and dignity who always had a kind word and a smile for everyone she met.
“I pray that Allah SWT grants Hajiya Hafsat Gimba Aljannatul Firdausi and gives her family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”.
