From: Femi Oyelola, Kaduna
Worried by the high rate of Nigerians going hungry, a specialist of the United States Army, Shola Oyeleke, alongside his colleague, Sergeant Kunle, have established a food project to give back to the community.
The project which is called Global Footprint: from the U.S. to Nigeria, was an initiative motivated by the ongoing challenge in the country due to hunger.
The pioneer of the project, Specialist Shola Oyeleke said despite his newfound status in the U.S. Army, he was unable to forget home, especially Kakuri, Kaduna State, where he grew up.
According to Mr Shola, many are unable to feed due to the hardship suffered by many in the country, hence the need to reach out.
Over 130 persons were reached out during the project launch with the hope of reaching out to more people.
