An Abuja based business womanand President of Unity Schools Old Students Association (USOSA), Kazaure chapter, Jigawa state, Hajiya Fathia Habeeb Shuaibu, has called on stakeholders to provide employments for the young graduates roaming the streets of the FCT and across the country.
Specifically, she called on the government implement policies and programmes that will touch the lives of the less privileged ones in the society.
She also urged the government to endeavour to provide free education for theNigerian children from primary and secondary schools level, to enable the parents to send their ward to schools without difficulties.
Shuaibu, made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily, during the inauguration of USOSA, University of Abuja chapter, at the weekend in Gwagwalada.
She noted that the leadership of USOSA will join hands with Federal Ministry of Education, to recruit qualified teachersfor the Unity schools, in order to strengthen the existing standard.
She pledged her support for the leadership of the UniAbuja chapter of the association, while charging the executives to move towards getting more members for the association.
On his part, the president of USOSA in UniAbuja, Mr. Garba Mohammed, said the association was formed to foster unity among the old studentsin the unity schools and the university.
He said that his leadership would carry the members of the association along, calling on the officials to always join hands with him to move the USOSA forward.
Mohammed therefore, appealed to the elders of the association to come to the its aid, by building a befitting administrative secretariat as well as buy a civilian bus for the use of the USOSA inUniAbuja.
