Benue State Investment and Property has canceled a 16 year lease agreement it entered into since 2020 with PRESKEN Hotels, Lagos.
The Managing Director, Benue Investment and Property Company Dr. Raymond Asemakaha announced the cancellation of the agreement when he undertook a tour of the company’s assets in Lagos.
The MD who stressed the need for a strategic review of the lease agreement after the end of the current lease, also,ordered the value of the rent reviewed from 5 percent to 25 percent payable every three (3) years.
While appreciaying PRESKEN for the renovation of the facility, Dr. Asemakaha further ordered for a review of the rent amount from the current ten million PRESKEN is paying to the company.
Representative of PRESKEN Fatai Owodunni pledged his company’s readiness to adhere to the new terms reached by the current management of BIPC.
Fatai appreciated the new management of the company and assured that PRESKEN would ensure that the partnership was beneficial to both parties.
