The Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Christopher Maikalangu has vowed to fight the fake revenue collectors in the area.
He also said his administration would continue to focus on the revenue generation so as to enable him to carry out more developmental projects for the electorates who voted for him.
Maikalangu, who stated this while briefing the media professionals on the state of revenue collection at the council hall on Tuesday, further urged the residents to always cooperate with the revenue consultants.
He then advised the tax payers to deem it fit to deposit their money in the Bank, urging them not to pay their money in cash to anybody.
He assured the residents that no revenue consultant would use force to collect the money from them, and called for the cordial relationship between the tax payers and the technical partners of the Area council.
While fielding questions from newsmen, Maikalangu expressed joy over the achievements so far recorded on the revenue generation.
