Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada representing Nasarawa Western senatorial district at the National Assembly has called on Nigerians to live in peace and harmony.
Wadada who made the call on Saturday at Imon village during the Tiv Development Association TIDA 2024 annual festival celebration; said without peace and unity amongst Nigerians , no meaningful development can take place.
According to him” It is very significant for the Tiv people to come together and share their culture and tradition with non Tiv people in the state and the Nation at large.
“I call on the state government to give the Tiv people the position they deserve. I implore all the tribes in the state to emulate the Tiv people by coming together to discuss common problems and proffer solutions to such.“
He also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for uniting the Tiv people and other tribes in the state as well as appealed to the entire people of the state to collectively support the administration of Governor Sule to succeed.
