Emir of Zazzau laments rising kidnapping, banditry in 3 Kaduna LGAs

The Emir of Zazzau,Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has expressed concerns over the rising cases of kidnapping and banditry in Giwa, Igabi and Soba local government areas, which are within his emirate.
Bamalli was speaking on the 10th day Ramadan breaking of fast with sons and well-wishers of the Emirate.

He noted the situation is becoming more alarming and worrisome as the emirate is receiving reports on the issues of kidnapping and banditry daily from Giwa and Igabi local government areas.
The emir however, advised communities to join hands with security agencies around by providing them with useful information on any suspicious movement by anybody so that the situation would be under control.
Meanwhile, zhe traditional ruler expressed satisfaction with the performance of security agencies in the emirate for their tireless efforts whenever the need arises, without delays, swinging into action.
He solicited for more support to the security agencies by exposing the criminals residing within them for immediate response.
He also advised parents to be vigilant of their children and to know their movement and associates to avoid engaging in criminal activities.
He stressed the need for parents to always give their children quality education and skills acquisition, to enable them to become self-reliant or employers of labour.
