Gov Namadi visit Ethiopia to boost wheat farming in Jigawa

The Jigawa state government has announced plans to deploy Ethiopia’s magic towards effective wheat farming in the state.
Already, Governor Umar Namadi is off to Ethiopia to understand the magic wand that made the East Africa country a key player in wheat farming in Africa.
A press statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant media Affairs to the governor, Hajiya Zainab Rabo Ringim explained that expert on the sector , and retinue of aids close to the sector are on the entourage of her Principal.
Hajiya Rabo Ringim said that the move to boost wheat farming in the state was occasioned by the desire of the Governor Umar Namadi’s administration to consolidate top position as number one wheat farmer in the country.
The Senior Special Assistant media Affairs said that her principal, and his team, while in the east African nation would explore innovative agricultural practices and deploy same to boost the sector.
Hajiya Rabo Ringim revealed that her Principal, and his team would particularly understudy Ethiopia’s National Wheat Production Initiative and engage in cognate experience-sharing to grow wheat farming in the state.
The statement said that “of interest is the Ethiopia rain-fed and irrigated wheat production fields that made her a number one spot in Africa in anticipation to domesticate lessons here in the state”
The Senior Special Assistant media Affairs said the study tour was in fulfilment of Governor Umar Namadi’s administration desire to enhance food security, generate employment in the state and beyond.
