Ansar-ud-Deen youth congratulate Kano emir

Date:

The Northern States Council of the Ansar-ud-Deen Youth Association of Nigeria (ADYAN), has urged the new Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, to forgive and forget the circumstances, leading to his emergence.

The Islamic youth organisation made this known yesterday, through a statement, issued in Kaduna and signed by its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Ismail Omipidan.

The group urged the new emir and the good people of Kano to see his emergence as an act of God and a manifestation of the Qur’anic verse that states that when the whole world congregate to plan to do good to anyone, only that good which Allah has destined would come to pass, and vice versa.

It further said, “To this end, we urge the new emir and other Nigerians to know that Allah alone gives leadership to whosoever He wishes, at any point in time.

“We, therefore, urge the new emir to put the circumstances surrounding his emergence behind him and forgive those who may have tried to upturn what Allah has destined would come to pass.

“He should take solace in the sayings and deeds of the Prophet, one of which states that: ‘Be grateful, if blessed; Be patient, if denied; Overlook, if cheated and Forgive, if offended”, the statement added.
