The Permanent Secretary in the Kaduna State Ministry of Education, Malam Rabiu Yunusa, has hailed Governor Uba Sani’s recent award as the Best Governor of the Year, describing it as a well-deserved honour.

Answering questions from newsmen on Tuesday, the Permanent Secretary praised Governor Sani’s “exceptional leadership and commitment to the development of Kaduna State, especially in the education sector, which he said earned him the prestigious award.

He highlighted the Governor’s remarkable achievements in the education sector, including the comprehensive reform of the school system, commissioning three Science Secondary Schools and commissioning many projects undertaken SUBEB and AGILE.

He explained that the governor’s commitment to girl-child education could seen from the fact that one of the three Science secondary schools, located at Pambeguwa was exclusively for the girlchild.

” Generally the governor has never relented in providing all important equipments, infrastructure or funding needed boost the education sector.

The Permanent Secretary also noted the Governor’s efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance security, and promote economic growth in the state.

Governor Sani’s dedication to the people of Kaduna State is unwavering, and this award is a testament to his hard work and vision for a better future, the Permanent Secretary said.

He congratulated the Governor and the people of Kaduna State, saying the award is a proud moment for the citizens.

The Best Governor of the Year award was presented to Governor Uba Sani at the 2024 African Illustrious Son Award ceremony in Lagos, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in leadership and governance.
