“We call on all Nigerians to rally behind her and the NNPCL,” the statement said.
The statement praised Eyesan’s leadership, crediting her with increasing the NNPCL’s daily oil production by 25,000 barrels per day.
It also acknowledged her efforts in promoting the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) as a more affordable fuel alternative.
The NDYP emphasized Eyesan’s character, capacity, and competence, urging Nigerians to unite in support of her. The group condemned the negativity directed towards Eyesan and advised her critics to engage constructively.
“The Niger Delta Youth Parliament urges you on, Her Excellency. Please don’t be distracted, continue your good work. We have total confidence in your capacity, competence, and character,” the statement said .
