The Niger State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rectified expulsion for State Assistant Woman Leader, Sayyada Amina Shehu from the party as recommended by the fact finding committee.
In a statement issued by the state APC Publicity Secretary, Musa D. SarkinKaji in Minna said that the Niger APC State Working Committee revealed that her expulsion came as a result of her involvement in political appointment racketeering.
The 5 man Committee under the leadership of the State Deputy Chairman, Zakariya Raba after series of deliberation, found her guilty of all the allegations.
Similarly, the State Working Committee band her from holding any party office right from polling unit down to the state level respectively.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Women Leader’s expulsion is in line with the Article 21 sub-section 5 i-vii of APC constitution 2022, as amended.
The State party Chairman. Aminu Musa Bobi vowed that under his leadership any party member found wanting in illegal act would be dealt with in accordance with the party constitution.
It would be recalled that the State Assistant Women Leader was invited by the 5 man committee constituted on 7th June, 2024 to ascertain the validity of the alleged racketeering of political appointments in the state.
