Benue State Government on Thursday commenced the distribution of the Federal Government palliatives to the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
It would be noted that the government had distributed 20 trucks of grains to all the States of the Federation.
The Executive Secretary (ES), Benue State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Sir James Iorpuu who disclosed this while flagging off the distribution exercise in Makurdi on Thursday, said the state government palliatives would be distributed next week.
According to him,the palliatives are expected to be distributed to all the 276 council wards in the state.
