A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano state and Chairman, Coalition of APC Youth Movement in Kano state, Hon. Adamu Muktar Gini, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau for their commitments to the development of North-west region.
Hon. Gini was reacting to the signing the North-West Development Commission Bill into law by the President, describing the development as a “landmark decision.”
The Bill signed into law by the President was sponsored by the Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, which is primarily meant to address challenges facing the North-west geopolitical zone.
In a statement released Friday in Abuja, leader of the Coalition of APC Youth Movements in Kano said the
efforts have paved the way for a transformative initiative that promises to catalyze sustainable development, enhance economic opportunities, and improve the quality of life for the people of the North-West.
The statement reads: “I, Honourable Adamu Muktar Unguwar Gini, Chairman of the Coalition of APC Youth Movements in Kano State, extend my heartfelt commendation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his exemplary leadership in signing the North-West Development Commission Bill into law. This landmark decision underscores President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to the development and prosperity of the North-West region.
“I also express my profound gratitude to Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau for his outstanding dedication and vision in sponsoring this crucial Bill. His efforts have paved the way for a transformative initiative that promises to catalyze sustainable development, enhance economic opportunities, and improve the quality of life for the people of the North-West.
“The establishment of the North-West Development Commission is a testament to the collective resolve of our leaders to address the unique challenges facing our region. It is a significant stride towards achieving equitable development and harnessing the full potential of our diverse communities.”
While expressing total support to the initiative, Hon. Gini said: “The Coalition of APC Youth Movements in Kano State pledges its unwavering support for this initiative and will work diligently to ensure its successful implementation.
