Zamfara Flood: Gov Dauda allocates lands, N100m, 10,000 bags of assorted grains to victims

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has allocated lands and the donation of N100 million Naira and 10,000 bags of assorted grains to the flood-ravaged victims of Gummi local government area of the state.
Governor Lawal who earlier visited the Emir of Gummi, Justice Lawal Hassan, declared the donation and later embarked assessment visit to affected communities.
It would be recalled that heavy rainfall flooded some communities in the Gummi local government area, submerging many houses last week.
The governor was conducted round the Gummi town to express sympathy with the flooding victims before proceeding to Gayari district to assess the extent of the damage.
Governor Lawal expressed deep concern after the assessment of the damage caused by the flood.
