First lady flags-off distribution of 60,000 exercise books to Jigawa pupils

As part of effort to support basic education, the first lady Mrs Remi Bola Ahmed Tinubu flaged-off the distribution of 60,000 exercise books to school pupils in Jigawa state.
Speaking at the flagg-off, Mrs Remi Tinubu who was represented by the wife of Jigawa state governor Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi said, the distribution of exercise books is part of Renewed Hope Initiative basic education support programme across the five Emirates in the state.
She explained that, the 60,000 exercise books is mainly for public schools pupils who are at primary and junior secondary schools level.
According to her, the present administration under the leadership of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed towards improving quality education and ensuring education for all children in the country.
