The national leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 64th birthday.

CAN in a statement issued by its

President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh on Sunday, said Mrs. Tinubu has shown a strong commitment to various social causes, particularly in agriculture, women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and philanthropy.

“Her efforts in these critical sectors are commendable and reflect a deep understanding of the challenges facing our nation.

“However, it is crucial to acknowledge the pressing issues many Nigerians face today. Rising inflation, insecurity, and the ongoing struggle for basic necessities have significantly impacted countless families. As we celebrate the First Lady’s contributions, we must also call for renewed dedication from all levels of government to address these pressing concerns.

“As we honour her, let us reflect on our collective responsibility to uplift one another and work towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.“
