Mallam Junaidu Abubakar, former Senior Special Assistant on Press/Media to Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo, has lauded Speaker Tajudeen Abbas for his unyielding commitment to fostering national unity and promoting cohesion through legislation.

Speaking in a statement on Monday Junaidu highlighted Abbas’s role as a leader dedicated to bridging divides and promoting inclusivity across Nigeria’s diverse communities.

The commendation, which reflects the views of over 50 lawmakers, described Speaker Abbas as a “detribalized Nigerian,” known for his dedication to nationalism and nation-building.

Junaidu emphasized that Abbas’s leadership in the House of Representatives has transformed the legislative body into a symbol of unity and progress, where the voices of all Nigerians are heard.

Junaidu noted that Abbas’s leadership style—centered on collaboration and consensus-building—has fostered a more harmonious and productive legislative environment.

His commitment to ensuring that all members of the House, regardless of background, feel included and valued has set a new benchmark for effective leadership.

The statement also highlighted Abbas’s stance against divisive tendencies and his focus on the development and growth of Nigeria as a unified entity. His ability to build consensus among lawmakers from various regions and backgrounds, Junaidu said, is a testament to his leadership acumen and vision.
