The Ferderal Government has vowed to kick out the ‘Lukarawas’ terror group out of Nigeria.
Speaking at the Comptroller General of Customs’ Conference on Wednesday in Abuja, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, said the government is doing everything possible to flush out the group.
“This Lukarawas terror group, or whatever it is called, is making a mistake.
“Nobody ever dares Tinubu and wins. They have come at the wrong time. Nobody has ever defeated Tinubu. We will kick you out of Nigeria,” Ribadu said.
Peoples Daily recalls that the activities of the group was made public on Thursday last week by the Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ).
Spokesman of Defence Media Operations (DMO), Major General Edward Buba, had declared 9 members of a new terrorists group, ‘Lakurawa’ an affiliate of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), wanted.
He said the group is prominent in Sokoto and Kebbi states.
