Briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kamba from Kebbi State of Nigeria. I am a traditional title holder of Hausawa in the FCT called “Wazirin”. I am a land dealer in Abuja.

As the Wazirin Hausawa Abuja. What is your message to Hausa-Fulani in the FCT?

My message to both Hausa and Fulani is that they should live in peace with other tribes in the FCT. They should endeavor to be of help to themselves.

My advice to the land agents is that they should be transparent to their clients. They should also avoid shady deals during the land transaction with their clients in all ramifications. I want to put across to the general public that so many land agents are fraudsters. So, people should buy plots of land from genuine land agents.

You are a land dealer in the FCT. Did you ever get problems with the lawyers?

I have so many problems with the lawyers in the area of handling my cases in courts. I won so many land cases in courts, but my lawyers refused to notify me because of my ignorance in law. My lawyers continued to demand for appearance fees from me, and that the judgment will be delivered soon.

Now, what is your message to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)?

I am appealing to the NBA to checkmate the activities of the lawyers over such deal. As a matter of fact, my Companies allocation papers such as Kosun Chemical Company Limited, Tela Property Nigeria Limited and Kamba Engineering Services among others were missed in the custody of the lawyers who handled my land cases in court. On this note.

And that I plead with NBA to combat against professional misconduct.

Have you ever deposited your allocation papers in the Bank?

Yes, thanked you for this question. On the 18th of March, 2013 I

deposited my original land documents in Bank for safekeeping,

up till now the said documents were not returned to me or found. I cannot say anything more than this.

In the case of land fraudsters in Abuja, what is your appeal to Nigerian Judges?

My appeal to Nigerian Judges is that they should handle the cases related to land sale with the fear of God in courts, and that they should not connive with lawyers or land agents to cheat owners with genuine allocation papers. Also, the judges should exhibit professionalism and timeliness in dealing with the issues of land in courts.

What about EFCC and ICPC?

The management of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as well as ICPC to be on alert always to arrest the land fraudsters in for the purpose of redeeming the image of those working in the land departments.

It was learnt that the gunfire was found in your house at Wuse Zone 2. What are your reactions?

I want to tell you that the Police in had already debunked the

report anchored by the social media platform against me. I did not have any business with anybody to keep gunfire or bullets in my house. So, it was calculated attempt by the media

platform to tarnish my image in public. I want to notify the

generality of Nigerians that those who kept gunfire in my house were the people I used to assist financially when they complained to me. I leave them to God.
