The Executive Secretary of  Nasarawa state Vocational and Relevant Technology Board, Engr Hamidu Kasimu has said Governor Abdullahi Sule through the prioritization of Relevant Technology and the Wing commandant Abdullahi  Skills Acquisition Centres, which is a laudable tool for transforming the state into  a global Technology Village.

Hamidu, who made the assertion Friday while taking  Journalists on inspection visit  to all the Departments and Workshops  in the Institutions, to ascertain the level of  functional  equipments installed across the three Senatorial districts of the state  by the Governor, in order to train the younger generation to be self- reliance as well as useful to the society.

According to him, ‘”Governor Abdullahi Sule’ s administration has been supportive in terms of Technical Education and infrastructures etc. Industrializing the  the state by Governor Abdullahi Sule is key and the Foundation we are Laying in  Nasarawa Vocational  Centres across the state is also Paramount for the future  generations especially the grass roots.

“I still want to call on the governor to give us attention when the need arises inorder to curtail some of  the challenges. We will ensure that our Students or Trainees get the best Skills to compete Universally with their counterparts.”

He further charged  staff of the three  Senatorial Vocational Centres to  be dedicated by showing commitments toward impacting  practical skills on their respective Students  so that they can become employer of Labour and making the state a global Technology Village.

“I  also appealed to Staff to breast up and  meet the current demand for Technology by working assiduously  to make the State one of the best in producing Skilled Students”, he added.

Hamidu however admonished parents to send their Children to Learn various trades offered at the Vocational Centres across the state inorder  to make them better undependable  leaders tomorrow.
