Breaking: PANDEF leader, Edwin Clark, dies at 97

Edwin Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information and leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), has passed away at the age of 97.

According to a statement from the Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family, Clark died on the night of Monday, February 17, 2025.

The family confirmed the news through a message signed by Professor C.C. Clark, announcing the loss of Chief Clark.

The family expressed gratitude for the support and prayers during this time and stated that more details would be provided later.

The late Edwin Clark was a prominent Nigerian leader known for his role in advancing the interests of the Niger Delta region.
