PDP insists Bago must account for over N1.2 trillion debt in two years

Niger State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has insisted that Governor Mohammed Umar Bago should account for the huge debt profile of over N1 trillion in the last two years without commensurate projects to show for its huge indebtedness.

The Niger North Zonal Chairman, Yahaya Abdullahi Ability made this known in an interview with journalists in Minna, saying that this has become necessary sequel to the raising debt from several loans.

Ability further requested that governor, Mohammed Umar Bago should give account of huge statutory allocations to the state amounting to  billions of naira monthly since the subsidy removal.

Niger North Zonal PDP Chairman, noted that as the process for the local government elections begun, the electorates should vote out the ruling APC in Niger state.
