Zinariya of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Aliyu Tijjani has expressed her heartfelt condolences to His Royal Majesty, the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, on the passing of his beloved wife, Olori Maria Ige Owoniyi.
Dr Aliyu said her exit was a deep loss to both the royal family and to the entire Kabba community, where she was loved for her kindness, grace, and commitment to the well-being of others.
“Olori Maria Ige Owoniyi was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love who touched many lives with her compassion and generosity. She played an invaluable role in uplifting those around her, and her legacy of service will forever be remembered. Her warmth and wisdom will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her,” said Aliyu in a condolence message on Wednesday.
She affirmed solidarity with the Oba, the Owoniyi family, and the people of Kabba, praying that God grants them strength and the comfort needed to navigate this difficult time, “and may you find solace in the beautiful memories and remarkable impact she left behind.”
“I pray that the Almighty grants her soul eternal rest and welcomes her into His everlasting peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you all,” the Kogi Princess added.
