A key member of Super Eagles of Nigeria and Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina with be out of action for awhile.

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo, disclosed this on Thursday, saying, it’s a big blow to the team at this time.

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo says Ola Aina will be out for a “while” with a calf injury and will miss Saturday’s game against Aston Villa.

The versatile right-back will be sidelined for an unspecified period after tests revealed a calf injury.

The Portuguese football tactician described Ola Aina’s absence as a ‘big blow,’ emphasizing his importance to the team.

“He has already undergone the scan and will be out for a while, unavailable. A big blow (to lose him),” Nuno Espírito Santo told reporters at Thursday’s pre-match press conference.

When asked what he will miss about the Nigeria national teamer, Nuno Espírito Santo responded: “His quality, talent, and the routines he already has with his teammates—we are going to miss him.

“It is a problem with the calf.”

Aina started all 30 Premier League games for Nottingham Forest this season, logging 2,574 minutes, scoring two goals, and providing one assist.
