Niger state government has reassured the citizens of sustainable development in all spheres of live through transparency and accountability to achieve its New Niger Agenda vision.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy Binta Mamman made this known during a press briefing in commemoration of the 2 Years Anniversary of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, held in Minna.
She stated that it is only a milestone but a moment of reflection, evaluation and Reaffirmation of the shared commitment to informing, enlighten of the people of Niger state on the government policies, programmes and activities.
Mamman emphasized that Governor Umar Bago’s administration has taken a bold steps towards transformation of the state into a modern, economically productive in an inclusive entity by redefining leadership with world ethics standard base on performance driven and people focus.
Also, the Commissioner for Tertiary Health, Dr. Bello Tukur highlighted the achievements of the present administration to include: employment of 1,000 health workers, training of medical workers, building of IBBU University Teaching Hospital m, remodeling of health institutions among others.
Other Commissioners were present including that of Ministries of Homeland Security General Bello Abdullahi Mohammed rtd, Tertiary Education Alhaji Mamagi, primary healthcare Dr Ahmed Dangana, Small and Medium Enterprises Mrs Elizabeth Shaba, Lands and Survey Maurice among others all presented their various scorecard to mark the two years in office of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s administration.
