The Ndalile Mokwa, Alhaji Muhammadu Saba, has commended Senator Peter Ndalikali Jiya for donating three trailer trucks of cement consisting of 90 tons to flood victims in Mokwa local government area of Niger state.
The traditional ruler commended the senator during a sympathy visit to his palace, the IDP Camp, and other flood-affected areas.
The royal father highlighted the senator’s commitment to his constituents’ welfare and advised social media handlers to exercise caution and responsibility in their online posts.
He praised the senator’s kind gestures and emphasized the impact of his donation on the community and the importance of leadership and philanthropy during crises.
Senator Ndalikali Jiya’s donation was aimed at facilitating the construction of new homes for resettlement, particularly for victims of the flood disaster.
The senator described the humanitarian crisis as catastrophic and emphasized the need for collective support.
He also made cash donations to the victims, and prayed for those who lost their lives, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
