Nigeria has the inherent capacity and resources to effectively tackle its pervasive insecurity challenges, according to the Chairman of EIB Stratoc, Dr. Bright Echefu, a leading intelligence, surveillance, GIS, and cybersecurity services provider.
Echefu’s assertion underscores a growing belief that a multi-faceted and collaborative approach is key to achieving lasting peace and stability in the nation.
The EIB Stratoc chairman made this assertion while interacting with journalists during a media tour to all EIB’s subsidiaries, where journalists were shown locally produced drones, bombs, and other military equipment.

Echefu said Nigeria has made substantial progress in developing its internal security architecture, training, and technological prowess.
He noted that years of sustained investment in indigenous intelligence gathering, digital forensics, cyber security, and sophisticated monitoring systems have empowered Nigerian forces to effectively address threats without relying on external entities.
The chairman pointed to the success of collaborative efforts between various Nigerian security agencies, bolstered by advanced real-time monitoring and data fusion centers, as a testament to this evolving self-reliance.
“Nigeria has the capacity right now to end this insurgency with the amount of local companies that are investing heavily,” he said.
He added that the Nigerian military is supporting local manufacturers through partnerships, protection, and direct purchases.
“The Nigerian military strongly supports local manufacturers through research collaboration, protection, and patronage,” he stated.
EIB Stratoc, known for its advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities and robust support to Nigerian security agencies, highlights the increasing effectiveness of localized solutions and technology in combating threats ranging from insurgency to banditry.
