
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State was on Tuesday honoured with the Best Governor on Peace and Security award at the 2025 Blueprint Impact Series/Awards held at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
The event, organised by Blueprint Newspapers Limited, celebrated exemplary individuals and institutions contributing to national development. Governor Uba Sani was singled out for his “robust approach to restoring peace and enhancing security across Kaduna State,” according to the organisers.
Presenting the award, the management of Blueprint commended the governor for what they described as “a results-driven leadership style that has turned Kaduna into a model of stability within a short period.”
In his remarks, Governor Uba Sani, who was represented by Deputy Governor Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, dedicated the award to the people of Kaduna State, stating that the recognition was a validation of the administration’s “enduring commitment to peace, security, and inclusive governance.” He also reaffirmed his resolve to sustain the momentum and consolidate the gains achieved so far.
The well-attended event featured top government functionaries, notably minister of Agriculture, Livestock Development, Warer Resources and that of Information and National Orientation. Others are captains of industry, diplomats, and members of the media, further underlining the national significance of the Blueprint Impact Series Awards.
Governor Uba Sani’s recognition capped a deluge of tributes to outstanding leadership and reaffirmed Kaduna’s growing reputation as a state making measurable progress under focused governance.
