Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its efforts in improving security, education, economic inclusion, health, infrastructure, and agriculture in Northern Nigeria.

Speaking at the two-day interactive programme of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Sani highlighted the importance of honouring electoral promises and deepening connections between the state and the citizenry.

Sani, who is also a former Senator, noted that President Tinubu has kept faith with the North, citing specific initiatives such as the student loan scheme, vocational training programmes, and investments in infrastructure upgrades. He emphasized that governance must evolve from the performance of a few in Abuja into the collaborative enterprise of many, and that citizen-government engagement is vital for national unity.

The governor highlighted Kaduna State’s efforts to address insecurity, including the Kaduna Peace Model, which combines proactive security, community engagement, dialogue, and institutional alignment. He commended the Federal Government’s support and collaboration in security matters, particularly under President Tinubu’s leadership.

Sani also emphasized the importance of financial inclusion, education, and healthcare in driving development and stability in Northern Nigeria. He noted that the region’s challenges are deeply rooted in decades of neglect, policy inconsistency, and weak governance structures, and that the Tinubu administration’s efforts are aimed at addressing these systemic failures.

The governor called for continued citizen-government engagement and collaboration to drive national progress, citing the legacy of Sir Ahmadu Bello as a guiding principle for leadership and service. He emphasized that governance flourishes when it is inclusive, and that no president, governor, or minister can thrive alone.
