Management of Federal Housing Authority( FHA) has commissioned 1.205 kilometers road project in its estate in Apo-Guzape, Abuja.
The Authority commissioned the road project yesterday in Abuja.
Managing Director, FHA, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, said the project is a three-way road project . “It is a three roads all together in one. The one on 1st Avenue and the one on 13th Avenue are linked all together amount to 1.2 billion.
He said that the two roads have a width of 12 meters wide and about a little less than 600 meters.
He said FHA is committed to delivering affordable housing and infrastructure.
“We’ll keep on commissioning, and commissioning building. This is the president’s mandate of the renewed hope agenda to ensure that buildings are not abandoned but commissioned”.
He disclosed that, “before we started this project, people staying up the mountain top never had access to their home. With the commissioning of the road, we provided walkways and drainages sufficient for the water pass.
“ At FHA, we ensure that all our residents in our FHA estate have a conducive environment to stay”, Ojo noted .
The MD said “We ensure that we put in so much professionalism into the road project, because standard is key. “This road is going to serve as a collector. It’s like the main road that will take you to the next estate”, he stated.
