Kaduna bombings: NEMA Lauded for prompt response

Authorities of 44 Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna, yesterday commended the National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA) for their prompt response in handling the victims of Wednesday’s  bomb blast in Kaduna.

Speaking when the agency donated 100 pieces of 8 spring Bed, mattresses and blankets each to the Hospital yesterday in Kaduna , the Deputy Director of the Hospital, Brigadier-General Murtala Abdullaziz Abdullahi said, the response of NEMA and other emergency stakeholders assisted in saving the life’s of many of the victims.

According to him, by Thursday, the hospital was treating 37 victims in its care but the number was reduced to 33 as 4 has been discharged.

He however stated that those 33 within their care are doing perfectly well, adding that many of those in critical condition have been operated upon are  responding to treatment.
