The Kaduna State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing citizens across the state to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
This effort aims to consolidate democracy and strengthen inclusive governance in the state.
Governor Uba Sani has directed that no eligible citizen should be left behind in the CVR exercise, emphasizing its importance in securing democratic rights and deepening inclusive governance.
The directive of the Governor was conveyed in a statement issued to journalists by the Commissioner of Information, Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, on Monday, stating, “His Excellency, the Governor of Kaduna State, has directed that no eligible citizen should be left behind in this crucial exercise.
The statement stated that the Ministry of Information is working closely with the Ministry of Local Government Affairs, the Bureau of Religious Affairs, traditional leaders, and religious leaders to ensure widespread awareness and mobilization.
“The government prioritizes citizen engagement as the cornerstone of democratic governance, reflecting Governor Sani’s vision of a people-centered administration.”
