Breaking: Uba Sani’s Roads Are Catalysts for Multisectoral Growth — Group

Date:

The Kaduna Good Governance Movement(KGGM) has declared that Governor Uba Sani’s latest rollout of road projects has redefined infrastructure as a driver of multisectoral growth, insisting that the Governor is outshining his predecessors by backing promises with action.

In a statement issued in Kaduna by its Director of Strategic Communications, Comrade Musa Garba, the group said the Governor’s flag-offs are not mere ceremonial rituals but a deliberate masterstroke to power commerce, health, education, inclusion, and governance credibility.

According to KGGM, the first win is in trade and commerce, as new road networks in Rigasa, Tudun Wada, Makarfi, Kudan and Sabon Gari will open fresh arteries for economic activity. The group noted that farmers can now move produce without losses, traders will access new markets, and transport costs will fall, stressing that the new projects are not just asphalt but “market enablers.”

The group further said health delivery will improve, as lives will be saved with ambulances and patients now reaching hospitals faster.

“Every kilometer constructed is a healthcare intervention disguised as infrastructure. Mothers and children will feel the impact most,” it said.

In terms of the roads impact on education, KGGM stressed that rural schools long cut off by impassable routes will now be easier to reach. “Roads linking places like Hunkuyi to Basawa are not just transport corridors — they are pathways to learning for the next generation,” the group declared.

The League also argued that by focusing on underserved communities like Rigasa, the Governor has sent a bold signal that no part of Kaduna will be left behind. It said the approach promotes equity, inclusion, and heals old grievances while uniting people around shared development.

The statement added that governance credibility is being restored, with the Governor ensuring upfront funding and vowing that no project will be abandoned.

“This is a sharp break from the era of white elephants and unfulfilled promises. Uba Sani is proving that leadership can be trusted again,” the group maintained.

The group then declared that the road projects are more than construction work — they are the arteries of Kaduna’s future.

“They carry food to markets, patients to hospitals, pupils to schools, and jobs to communities. Governor Uba Sani has set a new benchmark for purposeful leadership. Kaduna is moving, and it is moving with vision,” the group stated.
