BREAKING: Rural Kaduna Neglect Now History Under Uba Sani – Kaduna Women

Date:

Kaduna Women for Accountability (KW4A) has declared that Governor Uba Sani has ended decades of rural neglect by rolling out unprecedented road projects across the state.

Addressing a press briefing in Kaduna on Monday, KW4A Chairperson, Maryam Ibrahim, said the governor has silenced cynics who doubted his capacity to deliver tangible infrastructure.

According to her, 78 new road projects covering 775 kilometres have been launched across all 23 LGAs, while 21 strategic roads are already completed and operational. She added that the revival of the long-abandoned Kaduna Bridge from Kabala Costain to Aliyu Makama Road is already easing traffic gridlock on Ahmadu Bello Way, while the 14.8 km dual road in Millennium City shows the administration’s commitment to urban renewal.

Ibrahim noted that in the first phase of the road programme, 85 roads spanning 785 km were rolled out, with 44 already delivered, while the second phase introduced over 50 more roads and bridges covering 550 km.

She stressed that the gains go beyond asphalt: a renewed sense of inclusion for rural communities, stronger political capital for the APC, lower transport costs and greater access to markets, and above all, restored credibility for government.
