Ahead 2027: Adeyemi appointed Chairman of Tinubu, Ododo’s re-election bid

Former President, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Senator Smart Adeyemi has been appointed as the Chairman of committee for endorsement of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Usman Ododo’s second term projects by the Kogi State APC chapter.
The appointment, according to a statement by Nda Aaron in Lokoja, came on the heels of Senator Adeyemi’s rising national political profile and his wealth of experience from multiple electoral successes.
As Chairman of the Committee for Endorsement of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo’s second term projects, Senator Adeyemi’s appointment is a testament to Governor Ododo’s commitment to building bridges across the state and fostering unity, peaceful coexistence, and shared history between the Ebira people and Okun-Yorubas dated back to Old Kabba Province and Old Kwara State.
In his acceptance speech, Senator Adeyemi expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for finding him worthy to lead the committee
He equally thanked Kogi State APC chapter, led by Hon Abdullahi Dollars, for the recognition and call to create pathway for his people towards 2027.
Senator Smart Adeyemi commended President Tinubu for his tireless efforts in reforming critical sectors in Nigeria for the betterment of all citizens.
He noted that the reforms have started yielding positive results, stabilizing the economy, and improving various sectors, making him (President Tinubu) deserving of a second term in office come 2027.
Speaking about Governor Ododo, Senator Adeyemi described him as a fantastic individual, a team player, reliable, and trustworthy with the fear of God and love for humanity.
He commended the Governor’s consolidation policies and programs, which have been widely applauded across party lines.
Adeyemi emphasized that Governor Ododo’s achievements make his second term sacrosanct , particularly for the Yoruba people in Kogi West Senatorial District.
While thanking President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for entrusting him with this responsibility, he assured them that he will leverage on his political network nationally and structure in Kogi West to deliver on this task.
