Breaking: Tinubu appoints new minister

Date:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Bernard Mohammed Doro from Plateau State as a minister.

Doro’s nomination comes following the election of Nentawe Yilwatda, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in July.

The new nomination is expected to fill the vacant ministerial position left by Yilwatda’s transition to party leadership.

Further details on Doro’s portfolio and the date for his screening by the National Assembly are expected to be announced soon.
