The Kauru Local Government Community Development Associations (CDAs) Forum has issued a strong condemnation regarding the kidnapping of 10 innocent individuals from Kuyanbana village in the Rumaya community.
The victims, identified as Anthony Gambo, Sule S. Maigari, Asabe Sule, Makuku Joshua, Bako Bagobiri, Regina Nehemiah, Kabiru Ishaku, Lemich Ishaku, Solomon Barnabas, and Kaninzo Maitala, were abducted by unknown gunmen around 10:30 PM.
The CDAs Forum is calling on the Kaduna State government and security agencies to take immediate action to secure the safe release of the abducted individuals.
The ongoing issue of kidnappings in the local government area has raised significant concerns, especially given the presence of military formations in the region.
The community is experiencing frustration and fear, with many residents unable to sleep due to the persistent threat of kidnappings and violence.
The CDAs Forum is urging authorities to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
The community stands in solidarity with the families of the victims and is praying for their safe return.
Furthermore, the Forum is encouraging residents in the Kauru Local Government Area to remain vigilant, cooperate with security agencies, and report any suspicious activity to prevent further attacks.
